     FM found a really good home. A couple that lost their sweet 17 year old Schipperke in January wanted him. We met, and they fell in love with him just like I did. He now has a forever loving home. Thanks.

     My wife Penney and I found our Schipperke on Rescue Me's Schipperke Rescue. We contacted Val, she was taking care of BoBo. We drove to meet him the next morning. We met BoBo and he picked Penney and me as his new family, we are so happy with him. Penney changed his name to Sugar Bear, and he's with us 24/7. He even sleeps with us. Bear has 5 doctors at out vets office, and they all love him. Penney and I couldn't ask for anything more than our beautiful, handsome Sugar Bear. Thank you Rescue Me!

     Thanks to the help of RescueMe.Org, Schipperke Dewey is now in the PERFECT home for him . . . a home completely dedicated to continuing his quest to achieve an appropriate weight. Dewey came into foster weighing 32 lbs. (for a Schip with a frame meant to carry about 20 lbs.). During his 10 weeks in foster, I was able to help him shed 8 lbs. His new family has stayed in touch with me and continues to send photos and periodic weights . . . Dewey's very close to achieving his 20 lb. goal at the time of this writing! I had a LOT of applicants for Dewey, and while several of them were suitable homes for Schip, they weren't the RIGHT home for Dewey, until I received the inquiry from the family that I ultimately entrusted Dewey to. What that has done for me is enable me to match other Schip's with those homes that I did not select for Dewey. So, your RescueMe.Org web tool is helping more Schip's than you are aware of! Now he is receiving the help he needs to shed an astounding number of excess pounds through a managed diet and daily walking regimen, and he enjoys in-house privileges (no more 'backyard and garage' days for Albert!) and even sitting on the couch!      Hi Jeff, Schipperke Hewey did find the home he soooo deserved to find, thanks to the help of your Rescue Me! web tool. Hewey and his fellow Schips (4 dogs total) all need new homes, but they are not going to be 'easy to place' dogs due to a severe lack of basic care and socialization. The ease with which I can update the profile of each dog as training and socialization progresses has allowed prospective adopters to 'follow' which ever Schip peaked their interest, and then they contact me when they feel they can manage the remainder of the dog's education - very cool! With careful due diligence, to date I've successfully placed 2 of the 4, and I'm confident that the remaining 2 homes I need will also be found through the Rescue Me! website.      Hi Jeff, My Schip was adopted by a couple in Alaska! I am so thankful for your website. I had to find Bear a home and did not want to put him in a shelter, thanks to your website a couple from Alaska contacted me and adopted Bear. I put Bear on his flight to Alaska on Tuesday July 15th.
